Published in 2007 by Pearson Longman. 462 pages with audio CD.
This appears to be the best selling TOEIC preparation book on Amazon and is geared toward more advanced students. It has been updated to reflect the “new” TOEIC.
It comes with a CD for listening practice, and includes two review tests (one for Listening Comprehension and one for Reading) as well as two complete practice tests. Of course it also gives you strategies for each of the question types.
At US$24.60 (most recent price on Amazon), this represents very good value for money.

Published in 2006 by Barron’s. 688 pages with audio CDs/CD-ROM.
This is another guide that has been updated to prepare test takers for the new TOEIC exam, and it offers four audio CDs as well as a CD-ROM to give you the feel of an online test. This book comes with six practice exams and answers, so you will have lots to keep you busy.
One reviewer on Amazon made reference to errors. We have not been able to validate this, but it would seem that the quantity of useful information across 688 pages and 4 audio CDs would be well worth US$20.

Published in 2003 by Barron’s. 336 pages.
Very highly rated on Amazon. This edition includes a compact disc that provides you with help in pronunciation and listening comprehension. The focus is English vocabulary as it is used within the context of business, industry, and communications, this book with CD is focused to meet the special needs of TOEIC test takers.
Each of 50 lessons focuses on a specific TOEIC business subject; for instance, contracts, marketing, banking, and personnel. There is also vocabulary related to culture.
Each lesson presents 12 target words with definitions, used in several different contexts. Exercises follow every lesson, and a quiz follows every five lessons to test your understanding and use of the new words.
