The offering of Business English software programs is somewhat small. We will add to this list as we discover more. Please share your opinions with us if you have used any of these programs.

• Encomium.
• For US$95 you can purchase a CD-ROM on Business Meetings. This is designed for intermediate speakers, and it covers such skills as opening and closing a meeting, disagreeing, persuading, and negotiating.
• Encomium offers also TOEIC preparation on CD-ROM (or web-based). The cost is $99. For all Encomium software products see www.encomium.com, then select “Corporate/Business Learning.”
• Media Works. There are three different modules for Business English: 1) Telephone, 2) Meetings, Presentations and Socializing, and 3) Negotiating. The cost is €150 per module. See www.mediaworks-online.com
• Merit Software. If you want to focus on grammar in a Business English context, this may be a program for you. It appears that this can be used as a stand-alone progeam outside of the classroom. The cost for a “home” edition is US$39. See www.meritsoftware.com/software/business_english_fitness/
• Wiser Software. As part of Wiser’s Real English series, they offer Real English Business. If this interests you after you review the link, you should probably check the internet for the best price you can find. We are not sure whether Innovative Education is the publisher of this title.
